It takes into consideration:
The amount of time we as a photo and video team needs to capture a wedding similarly to the weddings displayed in our portfolio
When the best time is for the couple session photos, also known as Golden Hour.
There is only one Photographer and one videographer booked.
General weather conditions in these areas.
Things Not considered (these could have a significant effect on the final program)
The venue's location.
The venue could be close to a mountain or surrounded by trees, that might result in an earlier sun-set.
Pro Tip: If this is the case, considers starting the ceremony 30 mins earlier.
Multiple locations on the wedding day.
Travel on the wedding day takes a lot of time away from taking photos/video, a 5 min trip on a normal day could easily turn into 15 min trip on the wedding day
Pro Tip:
With Multiple locations, consider hiring a second or hybrid shooter, to relax the program and to make sure we get everything you want on the day
Hiring our team for additional hours on the day will also help to take those travel times into consideration.
Exceptionally long Ceremony and speeches
Try to cap the efficient's messages at 30 min
Encourage the people doing speeches to not exceed 3-4 mins per speech
Bad Weather
Bad Weather have an effect on the program (But our team is more than capable to effect the necessary changes to the program if required)
The only people that needs to know what is happening on the timeline is the Suppliers, the MC, the Parents and the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Do not Print out a timeline of the day for the guests.
These will be in the bin before the reception starts (high cost/ low value item)
